Not karaoke. Dave uses a keyboard synthesizer which plays midi backing tracks and accompaniment that he buys or creates in his studio. He plays the lead & rhythm guitar parts live. He also uses a vocal harmonizer when he sings and all of this together allows him to sound like any type of band he wants. From just Dave, to The Beach Boys or even a choir.

Dave's One Man Country Band show can be as small as just him and his acoustic guitar or a complete One Man Band set-up that includes a keyboard, guitar and amp, full pa system. The full set-up allows him to literally sound like a really good full band from a simple duet to a full big band orchestra complete with harmony background vocals. It also makes it very easy to control his stage volume. He can play at a very low volume if needed or he can turn it up a bit and get the party rockin.
